Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Phonemic proficiency is an important part of learning to read and critical for literacy development. To change educator practice and increase student learning, educators need to be aware of the impact of phonemic proficiency on students’ reading achievement and growth.
Teachers need tools to put the research of phonological and phonemic awareness into practice. This session will define and identify what is meant by phonological and phonemic awareness instruction and will provide teachers with the tools to embed into their daily instructional practices so that students can truly blossom in reading!
