Using Bootcamps to teach Skills in a Choice-Based Art Room

A Choice-Based approach to teaching art gives students autonomy in their learning process in the art room. Giving students foundational skills they need is a valuable tool for all art teachers. "Bootcamps" are a method I use in my teaching to give students the building blocks they need to have success and confidence. I will share with you the "bootcamps" that my students particpate in, what skills they learn and how this helps them in making their own, original art.
